Sean O'Curneen is Spanish-Irish-American.
Born in the US, he was brought up in Spain, where he attended British primary and secondary schools in Madrid. He studied a first degree in astrophysics at University College London, and completed a masters degree in journalism at Université Aix-Marseille. Sean worked as news presenter at Radio France International (RFI) in Paris and reported for Cadena COPE, Cadena SER and CBS News of USA. From 1996 to 1999 Sean worked in London for BBC Television before joining the Greater London Authority under the Mayor of London from 2000-2004,
during which time he studied a masters degree in European
Politics at Birkbeck College (University of London) being the
only student in his class to obtain a Distinction. He currently works at the Committee of the Regions of the European Union and is based in Brussels. Sean speaks English, Spanish and French. He is co-author of Express Yourself Better in English - Dictionary of Irregular Verbs with Quotations. |

Regina Dunne completed her undergraduate education in Spanish and Politics at University College Dublin (UCD). She holds an MPhil Applied Linguistics (Hons) from Trinity College Dublin, a Higher Diploma in TESOL (1st Hons) from UCD and a Higher Diploma in Primary Education (1st Hons) from Hibernia College Dublin. Regina is multi-lingual and multi-cultural with years of experience in the teaching of English at all levels. She is a teacher of global dimensions, having travelled extensively and having taught in Ireland, Japan, Spain, and Sweden. As Academic Coordinator at the Applied Language Centre, University College Dublin, Regina managed the English Language Teaching unit for many years. She speaks English, Spanish and Irish, and has completed advanced studies in Japanese. |

Born and educated in Ireland, Joseph travelled, studied, and worked in a number of countries, including the US, Japan, Germany, and Spain. He graduated from the Control Data Institute of Washington D.C., completed studies of advanced Spanish with the University of Maryland and worked as a Systems Analyst for the Computer Sciences Corporation.
His lifelong interest in the Spanish language, together with his extensive background in English language and literature, led him to establish Kilkenny English Centres in Madrid which has provided excellence in the teaching of the English language to thousands of students. He is founder member and Vice-President of the Association of Small Language Academies. He is a member of the Society of Authors in the United Kingdom and a member of the Dictionary Society in the United States. He speaks English and Spanish.
